い-adjective (i keiyoushi) — adjective ending with い

い-adjectives always end with い and can stand on their own: 面白い = 'interesting.' You can add です for politeness, but the adjective itself carries the meaning. The cool part: い-adjectives conjugate just by changing that い ending — no extra words needed!
