Learn to count from 1 to 100 in Japanese. Complete number vocabulary list with kanji, hiragana, romaji, and counting patterns for JLPT N5.
Japanese numbers follow a logical system once you learn 1-10. Numbers 11-19 are formed by saying 10 + digit (じゅういち = 11, じゅうに = 12). Tens are formed by digit + 10 (にじゅう = 20, さんじゅう = 30). Note that 4, 7, and 9 each have two possible readings — context determines which to use.
